Nowadays charms mean small animals, cupcakes or little flowers, these charms will probably not attract attention, but only you will know that they are antique metalwork handmade by our Afghani friends a long time ago.
They have imperfections but have the soul of being unique pieces, exactly like you and me.
This romantic necklace features an old clear crystal prism and eight antique handmade charms, hammered dangles from the nomadic Kuchi Tribe of Southeast Afghanistan and Northwest Pakistan.
The necklace measures approximately 12.2” in length (31cms) and closes with a lobster clasp.
≫✣≪ PLEASE NOTE ≫✣≪
The metal used in most Afghan Kuchi tribal jewelry is made of a mixed metal alloy called “gilet”.
Some of the components are handmade by nomadic tribes of Central Asia. There may be some imperfections such as scratches or dents, certain irregularities associated with age I always try to be as accurate and honest as possible when I describe ítems. These are not considered flaws and add to the overall look of the items. Please email me if you have any questions.
